Outside Europe: Customs & Taxes

Customs Fees

When you place an order on our website from a country outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply. These fees are the responsibility of the customer and are usually requested by the carrier upon delivery.

Example: Switzerland

For our Swiss customers, international shipments are subject to value-added tax (VAT) and customs duties. VAT is calculated based on the value of the goods, including shipping costs. Customs duties depend on the type and weight of the goods. In addition, carriers such as Swiss Post charge clearance fees for handling customs formalities. For example, Swiss Post applies a clearance fee of 13 CHF for parcels arriving from the EU, plus a 3% surcharge based on the value of the goods.

Please note that these fees may vary depending on the carrier and the value of your order. We recommend checking with your country’s customs authorities or your delivery provider for precise information about applicable charges.

By placing an international order on our website, you agree to take responsibility for any additional customs fees that may apply.
